Alberta has over fifteen years of professional experience performing at weddings, parties, and other special events.

 

Alberta Barnes

 

Alberta graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Violin Performance from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music. She has performed nationally and internationally as both a soloist as well as in a variety of ensembles. She has also worked as a freelance violinist in a diverse range of venues, ranging from metropolitan cathedrals to inner city public schools. Currently she does freelance work in the Portland area and is a core member of the Portland Columbia Symphony and the Newport Symphony. When she isn't playing the violin, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and crafting.
